This beautiful Amish built log cabin sits on a rolling 80 acres just outside of beautiful Onaway, The sturgeon capital of Michigan. Five miles from the UAW Black lake golf club, 10,000 acre black lake, feet away from the trails and lasting memories. Perfect for hunters as this property is very close to surrounding state land. Centrally located from Rogers city, Mackinac, Petoskey and Gaylord. Bring your boats, quads, side by sides, snowmobiles and explore beautiful Northern Michigan. Free Wifi with strong connection. This property is also handicapped accessible/barrier free. Outdoor patio and fire pit. Plenty of room for your trailers and off road vehicles! Only 1/4 mile to the MI trail ride so no need to tow your trailer once you arrive. Perfect 4 season getaway.

This was our second stay at the cabin and everything was just as clean and comfortable as before! It’s just a beautiful little cabin- perfect for a relaxing getaway that is a short drive to many state parks and the lake. We love reading on the giant back porch and star gazing over a campfire. The host is so kind and generous with all the little extras to make your stay feel like home. She even had new, wrapped tooth brushes available in case you forget yours like I always do! And i also love that she supports local small businesses with the products and art she features in the cabin.

Our stay was a relaxing and a cozy stay. We loved the house and the property. Very clean and lots of open space. The house was fully stocked with everything that would be needed. The house has a wheelchair ramp and the lower was fully accessible, with a walk in shower which was a big plus for our daughter with Cerebral Palsy. We will definitely be returning for visits.
