The Highlander's retreat is an 1890's built original cottage, updated to provide modern conveniences.
Situated on 123 acres, the home is set on in elevated position taking advantage of the sweeping 360 degree views.
The home features 4 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open plan living and dining and wrap around balcony.
The deck of the lounge room provides a place for entertaining with interrupted, spectacular views.
Our accommodation offers:
* 4 large bedrooms, accommodating up to 8 people.
* 2 bathrooms, one with bath tub.
* Well appointed kitchen with dishwasher - fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and grazing board.
* Open plan lounge & dining area.
* Wrap around deck/balcony.
* Indoor fireplace in the lounge/dining area.
* Barbecue.
Located at the foot of the Barringtons, the area offers endless adventures for the explorers.

We had the most beautiful, relaxing stay. The farm house is idyllic, with amazing views out every window. The house has everything you need. Our favorite by far was the fireplace at night. It’s a great spot to explore a beautiful area. The hosts were very accommodating and great communication. We will be back for sure.

Unfortunately for us we stayed whilst a severe weather event impacted the entire mid north coast of NSW so our hiking and mountain biking plans weren’t able to be met. The property is as presented and very comfortable. Our hosts were also very communicative and generous in allowing us to stay longer, should we have needed to, due to the significant flooding in the area. Very much appreciated.

A glorious peaceful setting for a relaxing getaway. A quaint homestead with all the heritage features. Stunning countryside views. Would definitely recommend.
