Loved our stay at this wonderful hideaway! The views from the unit are fantastic, and the hosts were attentive, and generally perfect all around. They even took us down into town to be sure a cafe was open at the unusual hour we arrived.
The place was well-stocked and clean, and very bright and roomy. We did the cooking class with Simona and Sonya, which was delightful - and left us with days of delicious leftovers. It is a perfect spot for day trips all around the Amalfi Coast and Naples/Pompeii - but the other comments about the narrow drive are true enough. Fortunately, the narrowest part is very close to the villa, so we just had one person hop out for the 50 meters or so that is really tight to help direct. The rest of the drive was easy (by Italian standards). Our car was moderately sized, and we made it up and down without any issue.
We hope to return soon!

The view was what attracted us to the property and we were not disappointed- unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea - Boats, Harbors and Coastline. Convenient to Naples Airport , Pompei, Amalfi Coast, Capri, Sorrento and more.
The apartment has all you need to feel comfortable and if you enjoy cooking you will have alll that you need and more to prepare any dish !!

My entire family loved this place. The view is gorgeous. But place itself is very cozy. We felt like we were visiting some good friends house. That is because of great owners who made our stay full of warm remembrances. Simona and Carmine were always ready to help. Driving up there takes some confidence. But don’t be too scared. With car less than 2m wide ( we rented Citroen C3) you can do it all the way up without problems. There are options to leave car before entering the narrowest part.

The experience was wonderful. Spectacular view. Very friendly and accommodating host Carmine and SImona. Responded very quickly when we needed something. VERY narrow road to very top of apartment. STRONGLY recommend a smaller vehicle if renting a car. We took the cooking class which was very good value and enough food for several meals. We highly recommend this location.

The view from the small balcony in the apartment was absolutely breathtaking!! The apartment itself was commodious and well appointed, by far the best spot we stayed in our 11 day journey in Italy. Everything from the arrival greeting by Simone and Carmine, to the farewell departure was perfecto! We enjoyed the cooking experience with Simone and her friend immensely. Would love to be able to return some day.
The recommendation of a renting a very small car was heeded, definitely needed to drive up the narrow winding streets!!!

This is one amazing find. We loved every minute of our time here. Beautiful mornings taking coffee and breakfast on the small balcony. Seeing the lightning and clouds of rain rolling in above the mountains. Watching the sunset with glasses of wine and the whole of the bay of Naples lighting up. Then back after dinner to savour the atmosphere of the location whilst having a nightcap. The last part of drive to the villa is difficult and we only had a Fiat Panda anything larger I would suggest to park below the final driveway and walk up. Cannot recommend this apartment enough and we would return at a moments notice.

Spacious apartment with great views of the Bay of Naples. Simona was very engaging and always available to help. Property is located up a long narrow steep climb, not for the faint hearted driving wise, but absolutely worth it for the views alone.

Unique stay
My husband and I choose this property because we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the coast with a nice view--plus we had a car and thought this would be perfect for parking. It does have an awesome view (you are on the fourth floor looking out over Mt. Vesuvius with gorgeous sunsets) and it is very nice and quiet. The drive there and the parking however were not the easiest.
Pro: I'd say the BEST thing about this property was the host--Carmine. Carmine met us down the road from the apartment, drove us there and helped carry our luggage.
There is an elevator which helps with luggage and groceries. And lIke I mentioned the view was amazing. The windows are large and there is lots of light. There is a tiny patio but that is mainly for standing and looking. The apartment itself is large and spacious with two bedrooms and one bath. Lots of seating and a couple of tables. The kitchen was among the best we've had in any vacation rental. And VERY well stocked with necessary (and even unnecessary like snacks ) items. The beds were comfortable and there was A/C for the bedrooms. There is a microwave, a dishwasher, stove, fridge, a washer for clothes and more dishes and glasses that we could possibly use.
Cons: Unfortunately the drive up to the hilltop property is very nerve-wracking. We had a small rental car but not a tiny one. If I was to stay here again it would only be with the smallest car possible because there is a stretch of road leading up to the house that is extremely narrow. Plus driving up and down the road to get to the property you occasionally had to pass other cars and usually that meant one or the other had to back up and maneuver. If you aren't experienced with tiny mountain roads and/or have a very small car I would not recommend. HOWEVER with that said our host Carmine went over and above with service to us when we explained how nervous we were about driving up and down from the house. He graciously offered to drive us a couple of times from the top to the bottom. It would be possible to walk down to the main road but walking back up would be quite a hike. Fortunately our host went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and we left feeling like we had stayed somewhere very special.

This may have been the most positive experience we have ever had through Vrbo! Simona went far beyond the call of duty in meeting us at our car rental pick-up location in Castellammare (on a Saturday night, no less!) and leading us up to the amazing apartment. She and Carmine were so welcoming and helpful all through our visit, and the apartment itself must be seen to be believed. Clean, spacious, well equipped, and peaceful, with a view of Vesuvius over the Bay of Naples that never lost its fascination. It was such a pleasure to return to this quiet spot each evening after the chaos of navigating the mountain roads! I will add to the chorus of other guests who recommend a small car - the driveway is not for the faint of heart. But the destination is worth the white knuckles! Grazie mille, Simona e Carmine!

The apartment/attic was just as you see in the photos...The non / stop view is amazing...sunrise and sunsets are beautiful. The apartment is large and very comfortable. The kitchen is extensive and has everything you might need. There is also an elevator! and easy parking. The Wifi is excellent. It's in a great location between Sorrento and the amazing archeological sites of Pompeii and Ercolano ( and others) . You can easily take the train into Naples. Simona and her daughter were so nice and gave me a warm welcome . It is really a special place and I hope to go back in the future.

A casa
La cosa che abbiamo apprezzato di più di questa breve vacanza (al di là della bellezza del territorio)è stato il fatto che alla fine di ogni giornata potevamo ritornare a casa per vedere il tramonto dal tetrazzino
Ci siamo sentiti veramente a casa
Grazie a Simona e Carmine

Great Location, very nice and helpful hosts
The view on Vesuvio and the sea is stunning, the price in relation to size of the flat unbeatable in the region. we enjoyed every single day here. The decoration ist tasteful and better than in any hotel. Also very suitable for families with Children.

Awesome adventure with the best view
This was the most beautiful, luxurious and tasteful apartment I've ever been in, the view is breathtaking! The apartment and the view are worth every penny and the drive! You absolutely need a car, and rent the smallest car possible, or even better scooter. The mountain road to the apartment has extremely narrow portions, a small car barely fits. This was the only negative of the location. There are parking spots in front of the entrance however :) Coming from Germany we actually didn't know that such narrow roads (1,5m wide) are considered roads. If you travel across the Sorrentine Peninsula you will learn that such roads are the norm there,so when you do rent a car don't forget to also purchase a scratch insurance and the vacation will be perfect. The apartment has everything you could wish for, the kitchen is a dream come true and it's not even advertised that this is a historical villa where in 1830s, Leopold the Prince of Salerno lived!! Simona is a sweetheart and will assist you with whatever you need or ask for. The view is so awesome that you can go there all year round. The Vesuv und the Golf of Napoli is right in front of the balcony! New Year's Eve must be amazing! The next beach is a 10min drive away. Everything worth visiting is in a one hour drive range. Absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend this place and Simona, the host! I hope I will visit again soon :) Auguri!

Awesome stay
This house made our trip flawless. The house itself was very pretty and well decorated. Everything that we needed was in the house and everything was in a brilliant condition. The host, Simona, was simply perfect. She was very flexible in terms of our check in and check out, also she was super responsive and caring. She even made us a cake which we enjoyed a lot. The house is super clean and has an exceptional view. The road leading to the house is narrow but we didn't have any problems with two medium size cars. Also the building has an elevator which is a blessing as one of my friends broke her leg just before the trip. Overall, we couldn't ask for a better place to stay and a nicer host to have. Thanks a lot Simona

An indescribable experience!
We loved the mansard apartment, it was exactly as described and much more. Very well appointed with more amenities than we could have expected! And we polished off a lot of them before we reluctantly left. Our only unexpected surprise was the second bedroom which is bunkbeds only not twin, but we worked our way around that. Our hosts were very engaging and available, and we enjoyed spirited descriptions of the house and area. One caveat - believe the caution in the driveway in! We had to leave or car below and walk up, not preferred. 😑 But do not be deterred, worth every minute! Auguri, Carmine and Simona!
