Über diese villa dieses Ferienunterkunft
The accommodations are located about 3 km from the romantic and beautiful village of Azeitão, which, in the days of the Portuguese royalty, was regularly visited by the royal family to rest and go hunting. It is an area world-renowned for the production of extraordinary wines, home to countless producers and wineries making red, white, and the sweet muscatel—one of which was considered the best in the world in 2018. In addition to wine, Azeitão’s cheese and tarts are also renowned for their excellence. In the region, you can visit three castles: Palmela, Sesimbra, and the Fortress of São Filipe (though not strictly a castle, it is a fortress built during the Philippine reign that, due to its location, view, and architecture, is well worth a visit). Nearby, you can also visit the Arrábida Mountains, hike along countless trails to explore them, or drive along the road that runs along the mountain ridge, offering breathtaking views, and head down to the beautiful beaches with their calm, crystal-clear ocean waters, where you might even spot dolphins.
