Welcome to Coldwater Lake!

I’ve been hosting for years, and I truly love it! My goal is always to go above and beyond to make sure my guests have an amazing, comfortable, and memorable stay. I encourage you to read through all of my reviews to get an objective look at the experience our guests have enjoyed.
Over the years, our home has welcomed all kinds of wonderful groups—from family reunions and multi-family vacations to bachelor and bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, Holiday Celebrations and more! We’ve celebrated some pretty special birthdays here, including a beautiful 90th birthday, an unforgettable 80th birthday celebration, and a fun 67th birthday party. There’s something special about bringing a big group together at the lake, and we love being part of those memories!

Coldwater Lake & Location
Our home is located directly beside another property, Camp Buckeye, and sits on a channel that provides approximately a 5-minute boat ride to Coldwater Lake.
You're also conveniently located near the Sandbar, if you're familiar with the Coldwater Lake area.
The neighborhood has a true lake-house atmosphere, so you will see campers, RVs, boats, and trailers throughout the area. It's part of what gives this area its fun, relaxed, summertime-lake feel.
Whether you're spending your days on the water, celebrating a milestone birthday, enjoying time with family, or simply getting away from everyday life, we hope our home feels like your home away from home.
A Few Important House Policies
We absolutely love hosting large groups and celebrations, but everyone staying at the property must be accounted for and disclosed. This allows us to properly prepare the home and ensures the property remains safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone.
The correct number of people must be listed in your reservation and the person renting the home must be at least 30 years of age.
Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you to Coldwater Lake.

First of all, I must comment on Brian, the host. He was wonderful to work with, quick to respond to my many questions, and so patient with some of our special needs. Brian knew that we were celebrating a few special birthdays and had the fridge stocked with champagne and a cake! I’ve rented a lot of VRBO properties and Brian gets the academy award for best host! Now the house… it was perfect for our 3 generation family. Safety accommodations for the seniors, a great outdoor space for the littles to play, and everything that we could possibly need to cook, eat, and play. The information on the website showed the house accurately. What it didn’t show was how well equipped the house is. Everything a family could possibly need in the kitchen, the bathroom, and bedrooms. Also, the house was clean, directions from the host were clear, and the neighborhood seemed very safe. I’d definitely be willing to rent this house again if traveling in Coldwater. My final thought - if you have a family member with mobility issues, this house seems safe. There are grab bars in the walk in shower, first floor bedrooms and bathrooms, and only 3 steps with a railing to enter the house.

This rental property was fantastic! We especially enjoyed all the outdoor areas to eat, play games, have a campfire, and just visit. The lovely rocking chairs on the front porch were continually in use! Would definitely recommend!

Property was clean and orderly. The owner was extremely kind and informative. He was a phone call away throughout our stay. We couldn't have been happier.

The house and location, so close to the sandbar, worked out perfect for our long weekend getaway! Everything was as is and the place is stocked with anything you could possibly need. Communication was one of the best we’ve had in our many years of using vrbo’s, so thank you, we had a wonderful time!
