Visiting Verona is an Experience . The building is located on the left side of the Adige river, two steps walk from the Teatro Romano (ancient Roman Theatre still in activity) and from the ancient and quietest part of the town. .The house faces a courtyard (where kids can play) surrounded by Verona hills that gives to the apartment a cool atmosphere. The apartment was comfortable and absolutely spotless. We had everything we needed if we chose to cook. A lovely garden backs up to the little balcony—some needed green space after a day of touring. It’s close to three bridges to ‘downtown’ Verona. It’s only a short hike from the end of the street to the top of the hill overlooking Verona—the best place to be in the evenings to watch the sunset and hear the bells. The water pressure and shower temperature were a little low for me but all else was perfect. Susanna also gave us helpful recommendations for restaurants and gelato.

Beautiful house and well equipped. It was centrally located to discover all of Verona by foot. The owners have a very nice garden nearby to enjoy. The place is good value and much appreciated.

We didn’t spend a great deal of time but that wasn’t our intent. Easy walk to all the places we wanted to see and dine at. The amenities worked well for us as did the beautiful back yard with table and chairs to sit. Inside was clean and well kept. Thanks to our host for a quiet and pleasant stay.
