We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Point at Lake Hartwell! William, our host, was thorough and incredibly responsive throughout our trip, answering questions quickly and making sure we had everything we needed. When a few remotes needed new batteries, he had replacements arrive via Amazon the very next day. The pre-arrival literature he provided was so detailed that both arrival and departure were a breeze. The location couldn't be beat: we loved the short walk from the house down to the lake. Our family spent hours swimming and fishing off the dock, and the sunsets over the water were absolutely stunning, the perfect way to end each day.The house itself was perfect for our crew of 12. The kitchen had every appliance we could possibly need, plus two refrigerators and an ice machine, which made cooking and entertaining for a big group so easy. We also had a blast playing the Pac Man arcade game and pool table in the evenings, and loved gathering around the large dining table for puzzles too. We'd happily stay here again and recommend it to any family looking for a great lake getaway!

Yard was not mowed and unkempt, even after the landscape man came to “weedeat” when I contacted homeowner upon arrival. My exact words to him were “the place looks abandoned.” Landscaping has deteriorated and the fabric was overhanging the driveway where mulch has washed away. Grass was knee high down to the water and remained that way throughout our stay. Outside of house, lower patio, screened porch, outdoor furniture and dock were all filthy, stained, and full of dust, pollen, and active spiderwebs. Dock power was inoperable so no one wanted to sit on it after sunset.
