Unwind and feel at home—our lovingly maintained half-timbered house in Silbach, a neighborhood of the small, nature-rich town of Winterberg, offers you the perfect all-around package for a relaxing vacation tailored to your tastes.

Nestled in the heart of nature, our cozy half-timbered house, built in 1730, awaits you, adding a touch of nostalgia to your stay. With 190 m² of living space plus a garden, you’ll enjoy the ultimate in comfort. No wish goes unfulfilled: in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, you can let your culinary creativity run wild, then treat your loved ones to a meal at the large dining table. The fireplace in the living room promises cozy evenings to wind down the day in relaxation. In addition, there are a total of five bedrooms at your disposal. The 2.5 bathrooms (1 bathroom with a shower, sink, and a separate toilet; 1 bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, and a bathtub; and a small bathroom with a sink and shower) ensure a relaxing start to the day.

Furthermore, when the weather is nice, you can spend time in the garden, which is fully fenced and features a cozy garden shed equipped with gas heating, a cooler, a TV, a gas grill and a charcoal grill, and a dartboard. The fire pit is the perfect spot to gather in the evening, and in the freestanding sauna house, you can unwind in complete peace.

Two garages, including two parking spaces in front of them, are available free of charge for your cars. Additionally, Wi-Fi is available at no cost.

Our half-timbered house is a smoke-free property. Four bedrooms, the living room, and the garden shed are each equipped with a TV. During your stay, we will of course provide towels and bed linens.

Both children and your four-legged friends (dogs for an additional fee) are warmly welcome here!

In addition to the accommodations, the small town of Winterberg/Silbach has plenty to offer: the beautiful landscapes make for a wide variety of recreational activities in every season! The idyllic village of Silbach is the starting point for numerous hikes, bike tours, various sports, and recreational activities. The small town of Winterberg is located about 6 km from Silbach and can be reached by car in just a few minutes. For an active day of vacation, you’re also welcome to walk along the "Namenlose" stream, which leads you straight to the "Skikarussell Winterberg" ski area (near Möppis Hütte).

In the village center, a small, family-run village store awaits your visit, where you’ll find everything you need for daily life. There are also two hotels in the village center, whose restaurants are open for a culinary treat.

There is a bus stop (about 50 meters away) and a train station (about 200 meters away) right near your accommodation—the very next stop takes you to Winterberg.
