Camp Pioneer was sold in 2020, but Pioneer Campground lives on. Formerly the staff area of Camp Pioneer, the campground is being thoughtfully developed while still preserving the quiet, rustic feel that makes the property special. The cabins are comfortable, the onsite bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen facilities have everything you might need for a simple and easy stay. The walking trail is well marked, and the creek is fantastic. It is a peaceful place to slow down, explore, and enjoy being outdoors.Pioneer Campground is a great option for families, small groups, or anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and low-key campground experience with plenty of natural charm. We were glad to see this piece of Camp Pioneer’s history continuing in such a thoughtful way.

These cabins were just what we needed for our fishing trip. All the facilities and utilities are modern. Plus the camp host was super helpful by providing instructions how to get there, use the community kitchen, etc. Highly recommended!
