Spend a day swimming in the Fügen adventure thermal spa or in the Zell am Ziller outdoor adventure pool. On hot days, the Schlitters swimming lake is also worth a dip in the cool water. There is also a summer toboggan run in Zell am Ziller, which offers variety for young and old. Another highlight for children is the play area at Camping Aufenfeld, where there is also a small swimming lake to cool off in between. You can also plan a leisurely drive over the Gerlos Pass to the Krimml Waterfalls as a day trip. The thundering waterfalls inspire everyone who comes here and the Krimml Water World adjacent to the large car park is also well worth a visit. Here, children can try out various water games that are quite educational.
