• Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temps drop into the 40s.

ABOUT THE AREA:
A walking trail along the river is located just outside your door and accessible from the north end of the complex. Just north of the townhome in the common area of the River Park complex, there is a private picnic area right on the river with a picnic table and charcoal grill.
Ouray offers year-round outdoor activities and has everything you could want during your Colorado mountain vacation any time of year! In the spring, summer, and fall months visitor's enjoy exploring, riding ATVs, hiking, biking, rock climbing, horseback riding excursions, and fishing. You'll love the summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park! In the winter months bring your snowshoes, ice climbing gear, or Nordic skis and enjoy downhill skiing in Telluride, a scenic 60-minute drive from Ouray! Ice climbing at the world-famous Ouray Ice Park boasts more than 150 named ice and mixed climbs, spanning almost 2 miles of the Uncompahgre Gorge. After a day of adventure enjoy a variety of great local restaurants, breweries, distilleries, live entertainment venues, and the ever popular Ouray Hot Springs.
Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

We had a wonderful time on our vacation, the house was easy to get to and the perfect location. Loved the sound of the river running past the house. You could hear it while walking past any open window.

This was a beautiful property overlooking the river. The home is well stocked with many kitchen tools and appliances I didn’t even expect, even down to wine glasses, which I had packed for Friday evening Sabbath observance. I could have left those at home. There were plenty of towels and pretty much anything you would need at home. We were quite impressed. Everything was either new or like new, even the grill on the deck worked perfectly. I will definitely stay there again if we have another retreat or trip to that area of Colorado.

Property is in a great walking location to pools, river walk and downtown area. Very clean, well equiped kitchen and comfy beds. Nice deck overlooking river.

But property needs upgrades. Mgmt co very helpful, sent mai ntenance out to deal with a couple of issues. Be aware there is no access to garage. Deck wonderful.
