We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The house is lovely; clean, functional, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. From reading in the hammock on the deck, floating on the giant pad in the lake, fishing, swimming, playing ping pong, and enjoying s'mores, our family had an absolute blast at the lake house. If your family includes kids and dogs, this is the perfect vacation spot for you!

Amazing house on the lake! So clean, cute and possibly the best appointed rental I've ever stayed in. The check-in process had a small glitch but that was mostly due to user error attempting to enter through the back door - the host was immediately responsive and got us in right away. The walk to the beach and lake is pleasant, winding through the woods a bit - possibly a bit long for the frail elderly but otherwise quite nice. We sat on the dock for a while, then moved to the shade on the beach. While on the beach we were treated to a visit by a beautiful blue heron who walked around the cove and then onto the dock we had just been on! We watched it consider dive bombing the fish for a long time before it flew off. I do recommend bringing groceries with you. Nothing much close by except Buchanan's, the amazing general store that's been in operation since the 1880s. Buchanan's is worth a visit! I highly recommend Kimball's Cove Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, secluded, lakefront getaway.

Excellent

This is a beautiful house and the property manager was great. The dock area was beautiful and the kids enjoyed the basement play area. The house had everything we needed, though I do wish there was a gas grill. Just one issue to keep in mind: this is really a six person house. There are 3 queen beds. The other sleeping capacity is air mattresses and uncomfortable pull outs. And there is a charge for more than 6 people (just to sleep on the floor). But with that said, we would definitely stay here again. Great house with a beautiful beach area, which is really all that matters at the lake!
