Bienvenidos a Casa Azul! Welcome to Casa Azul. Perfectly located on beautiful Jones Avenue. Enjoy the breeze from two porches and the easy walking distance to the beach. Enjoy the beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a privacy fence and a brick-paved outdoor patio area for sunbathing and entertaining. There is an adjacent covered patio, perfect for grilling out and gathering with family and friends.
This beautiful home has been masterfully crafted with guests' needs in mind. A perfect resting place that is bright and sophisticated with 4 large bedrooms, and 4 and a half bathrooms. The main level of the home, on the second floor, includes an open living, dining, and kitchen area. The casual yet sophisticated living area includes a plush sofa and large chair and ottoman and a large flat-screen TV. Just off the living area, are french doors that lead to the large screened porch with outdoor lounges and cushioned seating, that overlooks the quaint cottages that line Jones Avenue.
The custom-crafted kitchen features beautiful stone countertops and all stainless appliances and includes a dual coffee/Keurig brewer, an espresso machine, dishwasher, toaster oven, and a toaster and a built-in microwave. The beautiful granite breakfast bar is perfect for gathering while cooking a gourmet delight, or enjoying a glass of wine with friends. The large dining table seats up to 8, with additional seating for 4 at the breakfast bar. A half bathroom is located in the hallway. Large windows, tall ceilings, and a neutral color palette have created a warm and inviting atmosphere that transcends from room to room.
Bedroom 1 is located on this main living level, furnished with a King size bed and flat-screen TV, and has a beautiful en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, dual vanities, and a large soaking tub. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs on the second floor of the home. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a King size bed, a flat-screen TV, and a large private en suite bathroom with a custom tiled walk-in shower. This room has french doors that lead to the large covered balcony, that sits above the main floor balcony. From here, get a birds-eye view of the treetops of the surrounding homes and cottages.
Bedroom 3 also has a King size bed, and a flat-screen TV, and has an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Bedroom 4 is furnished with a Queen size bed and a Twin Bed. Bedroom 5 doubles as an entertainment area, and is furnished with a Queen Sleeper Sofa and also has a flat-screen TV. This bonus room shares a common full bathroom and a walk-in shower with the fourth bedroom.
You will love the whimsical details in the custom-designed fence surrounding the pool. There is a gas grill for guest use and a fire pit for evening gatherings. Rinse off after a day at the beach in the enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Please note, this pool is NOT heated.

Casa Azul treated us quite nicely! The house was clean, the A/C works well, and all of the bedrooms were great! Having three masters all with king beds and beautiful bathrooms was such a treat! The layout of this home is perfect and everything is open and large. The pool was large and deep as well, deeper than we thought it would be. I’d say it goes from 3.5 feet- 6feetish?? That’s just me guessing based on our own pool at home. We can’t wait to come back to this property.

Pros: location, location, location!! Walk 10 minutes to the beach, 20 mins. to Tybee Beach Pier and Pavilion and 10 mins. to the IGA grocery store. Private pool was a plus for our grandchildren. Pool needed to be cleaned and they were very responsive to our request. Lots of kitchen utensils, dishes, glasses and cups. Screened-in porch a plus. Cons: The house is overall very presentable but needs a thorough deep clean. For the cost of the rental, all of the following can be easily fixed. Floors were dirty as evident from the bottom of our white socks. Living room furniture has many stains. Bathroom bath mats and carpets should be washed or replaced. Chewing gum stuck to the upstairs bedroom carpet. Mold in the grout of the showers and green mold on the outside of the downstairs bedroom windows. Pool furniture plastic webbing is brittle and broken. The coffee pot burner is very corroded; no espresso machine as listed. Lots of wine glasses; but no wine bottle opener. Provided a small bottle of dish soap and 4 dishwasher pods; not enough for 5 days. Front loading washing machine smelled and no laundry detergent provided. No coffee filters, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, or other typical disposable kitchen essentials provided. We have rented vac homes for less and they provided the items. Ice maker did not work because it was encased with frost. We didn’t call for these minor issues because they obviously were issues for a while and a lack of attention to details on cleanliness.
