It's all in the name! The View offers breathtaking views of Carbis Bay in a peaceful and relaxing retreat for couples,in a secluded location, just a short amble from gorgeous Carbis Bay beach.
The View has been recently renovated to a high standard, shades of blue and coastal hues enhance the open-plan living accommodation which provides all that you need for a perfect holiday, including a well-equipped kitchen complete with a Nespresso coffee machine.
The open plan living area houses a wall mounted plasma television which, with these views, you may not watch at all! There is the added bonus of a comfortable sofa bed and seating around the dining table for four guests. French doors open out from the living area to the glazed Juliet balcony giving you far reaching sea views from St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse and Gwithian Sands.
The stylish bedroom has a wall mounted television and, most importantly, a king-size bed with a luxurious Tempur mattress, ensuring a great night's sleep after a day exploring this stunning area of Cornwall. Just along the corridor is the modern shower room with its huge drench shower.
Outside, guests can relax in the communal garden, complete with outdoor furniture for soaking up the Cornish sunshine. From here, a private path leads directly to the beautiful sands of Carbis Bay beach, just a few minutes' stroll away. If you're keen to explore further afield, the scenic coastal train to St Ives is only a short walk from the apartment, or you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the South West Coast Path, right on your doorstep - there's no need to take the car.
A well-behaved dog is very welcome at The View, making it ideal for guests wanting to discover the coastline with their canine companions. With direct access to the coast path from the garden, it's easy to head out on foot and enjoy the stunning surroundings. We simply ask that dogs are kept on a lead while in the communal garden to ensure a calm and considerate space for everyone.

A car is not necessary. The nearest railway station is Carbis Bay, 250m away.
The apartment is located on the first floor, accessed via one flight of external steps.

A very attractive, clean and well-equipped apartment which frames stunning views over Carbis Bay. The beach is a very short (steep) walk away, St Ives is about 35 mins walk via a very scenic stretch of the South West Coastal Path and the Carbis Bay train station is even nearer than the beach if you want to go further afield (e.g St Michael's Mount from Penzance). Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are wonderful for art lovers. I visited in early May when it wasn't too busy and had sunshine and blue skies every day.

This appartment is one of the best we ever stayed in! Perfectly eqipped with everything you might need, a wonderful kitchen, the most comfortable bed, a quiet place and enough space for two and best of all: the stunning view! There even are really strong binoculars the watch boats or birds! As others pointed out , it is really steep terrain, also the outdoor steps leading to the landing, so you should be aware of that. But for us it was wonderful and we just loved it. Also a perfect location to visit the very far end of the country.

I had a wonderful time at The View! It was a well proportioned and decorated apartment with all the amenities one would need. The views from the living area are simply beautiful! I will definitely book again!

We were disappointed that we had not been warned about the steepness of the apartment to the beach. When we read the reviews in the apartment itself, it was called "cardiac hill", so we did not try it. We are in our 70s. The water is boiling hot and I was scalded on my right shoulder when in the shower for the first time. The burn lasted a good day. There is no helpful advice on how to operate the shower and there is no handrail to hold on to when getting in and out. Also, there is no shower mat to stop you from slipping. The view itself is lovely when it is not raining or misty which it was when we were there. The complimentary gift of Cornish goodies was a nice touch.
