Bluebird Hideaway is our new, Cape Cod style Vacation Rental. We hope that you will be as charmed as we are by this lovely, private place. Just up the hill from this cottage is our first, and very successful vacation rental, Black Mountain Hideaway, property number 410121, which is rated 4.9/5 star rating, with 200 excellent reviews.
Morning coffee and any meals enjoyed on the covered porch, will often be accompanied by many varieties of bird's singing. If you follow the covered porch around to the side porch, you'll find the private Hot tub area where you can enjoy the evening sky, filled with stars. Down 2 steps from there and you'll be in the bbq grilling area and near the fire pit.
Inside, you'll find that the main floor could be all that a couple would need to be comfortable. There is a completely equipped kitchen and dining area, a cozy living room, and one spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, and bathroom with shower.
If you are traveling with another couple or bringing the children along, the second floor has a very quaint bedroom with a queen size bed, and bathroom with shower. The second floor also has a loft area, open to the kitchen below. Here you will find a reading nook with a Trundle Bed to snuggle up in, with books, games, puzzles, and children's books. The Trundle bed is a twin bed with a second twin bed stored beneath it.
The cottage is an enjoyable stroll through Cheshire Village to the Cheshire Village Shops, where you'll find the Artisan Shop to have your morning coffee and roll or sandwich, or you might enjoy the wonderful Sake Sushi Restaurant at lunchtime. Another great restaurant in Cheshire is the Black Bear Restaurant for delicious evening meal choices.
Approximately 3 minutes by car to the Historic downtown Black Mountain gift shops, antiques, and some of the many wonderful restaurants.
Another 15 minutes to the Asheville Arts, Entertainment, Breweries, and Restaurants.

Beautifully decorated and welcoming. Amazing amenities and the location was fab. I didn’t get check in information and had to reach out for it, which was a bit annoying and my bathroom shower was disgusting with stains and pubic hair. The communal throw blankets definitely hadn’t been washed in a while and we found several dog toys and balls under chairs and the couch indicating a lack of attention to detailed cleaning. I would stay again if cleanliness was taken up a notch.

The cutest mountain home for our family with 3 children and our dog. The house was clean and the fire pit was perfect for the cooler nights. It was a quick trip into town or to the Interstate.

House was really cute, and perfect for our travelers (3 adults and 1 pet). Kitchen had everything we needed, and we cooked breakfast each morning. Front porch was great for drinking coffee and watching the birds.

This was our 3rd time staying in Black Mountain and with this particular host. Previous two times at their other property. Last 2 visits including this year, the hot tiub did not work properly. It did not heat. While it may be a minor thing, when you market a property as having certain amenities, they should probably work correctly. We will not be visiting again
