Located approximately 0.1mi/half block from the Delaware Bay. Looking for a less crowded beach, perfect for peaceful and relaxing walks, beautiful sunsets and tons of nearby activities? The Bay is perfect for boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, and canoeing. Very comfortable furniture and mattresses! If you like a clean, newly painted, recently furnished and quiet home, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
Interior: This 2800 sq. foot, 3-story bayside beach chalet features 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, living room with bay views, fully equipped kitchen, a loft, and large recreation room (1000 sq. feet) for additional entertainment space. The first floor recreation room includes a ping pong table, foosball, pool table, and 2-person basketball shootout game with a full bath with tub/shower and large capacity washer and dryer. The second floor features 2 Queen bedrooms, living room and large eat-in kitchen with seating for up to 12 guests. The third floor boasts a large master bedroom with king bed and sweetheart balcony with bay views, and the fourth bedroom contains 2 bunk beds with 4 twin mattresses. Also on the third floor is a loft area with a twin day bed with trundle. The house sleeps total of 12 guests. Newer furniture, mattresses, bedding, and appliances throughout! Kitchen is modern with a dining table and chair set that expands to hold up to 8 people and counter seating for 4. The house has 4 smart TVs with streaming capability in the rec room, living room and loft, and master bedroom. The house has free high speed WIFI.

Exterior: The house has a 500 sq. foot wrap-around deck for beautiful bay views and sunsets, complete with outdoor seating for 12 with convertible benches/tables and a 4-burner propane grill with side burner on the ground floor. Private driveway for off-street parking of 2 to 3 cars. Sizable rear yard with pool perfect for outdoor activities.
Our property is perfect for families with small children. A baby crib has been added to one of the Queen bedrooms on the second floor! Crib mattress sheets are NOT provided. All small furniture has anti-tip straps. We have a high chair, 2 pack and plays and optional bedside rails for bunk beds. We have a wagon and 2 single strollers perfect for trips to the zoo! The house also has 4 chairs , 3 loungers and a beach umbrella to use at the beach as well as beach toys for kids. When we are there, the smaller age group children relax in the third floor loft playing games or streaming shows on tv. Adults and big kids can relax on the second floor or in the first floor game room.
This house is in a safe, low-traffic area perfect for family vacations, gatherings, reunions, and special events.
Appliances: 2 Full Size Refrigerator/Freezer Units, Gas Range/Oven, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washer, Dryer, Flex Coffee maker (Standard Filter Coffee and K-Cups), Toaster, Sandwich Maker/Press, Blender, Blow Dryers, and Steam Clothing Straightener.
ATTRACTIONS:
BEAUTIFUL MIAMI BEACH NJ: Beautiful, quiet beach with sand bars on the Delaware bay. Perfect for kids to build castles on the beach and family walks – 100 steps/half block away.
DELAWARE BAY: Perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, windsurfing and other water sports. Larger boat access available 7 miles away.
LOCAL EATERIES: Harpoon’s on the Bay, Mel’s Waffle House, Castaway Cafe, The Local Tavern and many others are all excellent choices and locally owned and operated.
CAPE MAY BEACHES: Approximately 8 miles away, lie some of New Jersey’s most pristine beaches providing ample space for a perfect day at the shore. These areas feature The Promenade, a paved pedestrian walking and cycle path on the ocean side of Beach Avenue perfect for walking, running, bicycle riding and other activities including the Cape May Convention and Events Center.
CAPE MAY RESTAURANTS and SHOPPING: Multiple bicycle, scooter, and surrey rentals available. Some our favorite restaurants are The Blue Pig Tavern, Tisha's, Fins Bar & Grill, Mad Batter, Exit Zero, Lobster House and Lucky Bones.
CAPE MAY ZOO: Approximately 8 miles away from the FREE Cape May Zoo! This is one of the most beautiful zoos on the east coast with a huge playground for children of all ages, a disc golf course, and a ropes/zip lining course called Tree to Tree Adventures (book online to get a spot for ropes course and zip lining).
CAPE MAY COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM: Approximately 8 miles away, the museum is located in three historic buildings featuring a treasure trove of exhibits showcasing county life from Native American times through the twenty-first century.
SUNSET BEACH, WWII HISTORICAL AREA, and CAPE MAY LIGHTHOUSE: approximately 8 miles away from these attractions including the USS Atlantus, a WWII era concrete warship prototype and the WWII Lookout Tower. Don’t miss the National Anthem and Flag lowering each day at sunset!

We stayed at Sunset Serenity in Villas for a week in June/July 2026. My family consists of 6 adults, 2 children and 1 baby. The house was perfect. 3 full bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, and a pool. We could walk to the Delaware Bay. The host recommended Poverty Beach on the Atlantic side and it was perfect. And the host was fast to respond to my questions. We had a great time.

House was very spacious. Pool was clean and kids enjoyed it. Only 20 min from Cape May was a plus. Had several great places to eat close by. Neighborhood was quiet without a lot of traffic up and down the street.

The home was perfect for a family with children. The pool was clean and safely fenced in. Sunsets on the bay were spectacular and the horseshoe crabs during mating season mid June were interesting. The beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced in a rental. The only recommendation to owner would be to add serving dishes to the inventory. We couldn’t find any and used the cooking pots and mixing bowls for serving ( not a big deal).

We would not choose to rent this property again. The hosts were very kind and responsive whenever issues arose, which we greatly appreciated. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It was easy and safe for our kids to walk around. While the bay was conveniently close, it was not ideal for swimming or beach play. The drastic tides left behind mostly mud rather than sand, and the water was often filled with horseshoe crabs and jellyfish. Although the sunsets over the bay were beautiful, we opted to travel to other beaches for our beach outings.The home itself has clearly been well-used. Many of the beach and sand accessories were unfortunately broken or unusable. Midweek, the pool turned green, though the property management team did respond quickly and sent someone to service it.On our final night, a severe storm passed through and caused significant leaking in the bedroom with the crib. The leak was substantial enough that we had to move rooms. While we were advised to catch the water as best we could, it was evident this was not the first time the issue had occurred this season. The host made us aware the window is already scheduled for repair in September. The response from management was simply an apology for the inconvenience. If the leak was already scheduled to be repaired, it would have be fair to give us warning of the leak so we could watch for it. We had hoped for a better experience, but unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations.
