About the property:
The house is located in the Northwest part of Rapid City providing easy access to Camp Rapid and downtown Rapid City. It It is centrally located amongst all the attractions that western South Dakota has to offer.

What some guests don't love about our listing:
➥Our garage does not have electricity. If you'd like to use it you'll have to open it by hand from the inside.
➥The second bedroom and bathroom are in the basement. The bedroom does have egress windows that provide plenty of light.
Our home sleeps 6 guests two queen beds and one sofa sleeper.
➥All beds complete with fresh sheets, a light comforter, and a blanket.
Complimentary Wi-Fi, tea, and coffee. The kitchen is stocked with plates, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, basic cookware, and all the standard kitchen appliances.
Other details to note:
-We are dog friendly (limit of 2) but we do not allow any other types of pets. Make sure you pick up your dog poop and dispose of it in the outside garbage bins.
-We have a garage available but it does not have electricity. If you want to park in garage you will need to open it by hand from the inside.
-Self check-in/keyless entry. Easily check yourself in with an electronic lock. Your code will be provided prior to your check-in time.
-Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the house with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
- This is NOT A PARTY HOME, any reservation found to have unregistered overnight guests in the home will be escorted off the property and the booking will immediately be cancelled with no refund.
- Quiet time hours between 11 PM and 7 AM.
- Primary renter must be 21+ years old and at least one person staying at the property must be at least 21 years old.
- No smoking of any kind (cigarette, marijuana or vaping) - a $250 fee will be charged if the property smells of smoke, or any evidence is found that smoking occurred inside the property.
- The maximum occupancy on this property is 6 people. Additional friends/family are allowed at the property during your stay but please make sure that all overnight guests are declared on the reservation.
- Additional cleaning fees may be applied if the house is left messy and unorderly. Please follow check out procedures prior to departure.
- Late check-out fee of $50 per hour will be applied if you have not vacated the property by the 10 AM check out unless prior permission is granted from the host. If check out is more than 2 hours late, you will be charged for an additional day and will be charged at our base nightly rate of $200, but this does not award you to stay for the additional day as this could impact other reservations.
- Any violation of the house rules could be grounds for immediate termination and removal from the property without a refund.

The property was clean and fit our needs as a family of four traveling with a dog for the 4th of July holiday. The fence along the street is brand new but the fence between the yard and the neighbors is old, starting to fall over, and had enough gaps we did not let our senior German shepherd out alone because her curiosity would get the best of her. The detached garage was a nice bonus to keep our car out of the street overnight. If you have a small child or a clumsy senior dog like us I would suggest a baby gate to keep them away from the basement steps. Overall we are very happy with our stay, the hosts, and the provided amenities. If we decide to return to the Black Hills this property will definitely be on our radar to try and book again.

The hosts were very easy to communicate with and the house met all our requirements during our visit. We were able to cook breakfast every morning as well as find multiple dining areas downtown for lunch and dinner (less than 10 minutes away). This is a great place to stay if you’re looking to hit all the major attractions near Rapid city!

Cute place to stay on a National Parks road trip with the dogs. Kitchen was stocked with everything to cook and it was nice having the upstairs and downstairs space along with full sized laundry. Fenced in backyard was a plus for the dogs and it was an hour drive to each Wind Cave NP and Badlands. Only a 10 minute drive downtown with lots of cute shops and places to eat. Neighborhood was a little questionable but it wasn't an issue at all (as a solo female traveler) and I rarely saw anyone around. Great communication with the hosts!
