Melfort Village is terrific.
Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation.
There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). All in all just a fantastic break.

Had stayed in this cottage before a d went this time to review it as we wanted to to buy a week at Melfort. Not disappointed lovely cottage, great location and views. We look forward to many years at the cottage.

Loved it, but very expensive to heat. Bring hot water bottles and throws for the evenings. Heating system yet to be upgraded. However, we still had a great time. Enjoy the music evening and the best fish and chips ever in the restaurant. Reception staff couldn’t be more helpful. Maintenance team quickly on hand if necessary. Highly recommended.
