Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the Blue Bird Cottage, an ocean front home with private beach access located between Waldport and Yachats. Stroll the miles of sand on Big Stump Beach or just sit on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Additional amenities include a fully fenced yard for the pets and kids, telescope and binoculars for whale watching and a home WiFi system for the working vacationer. The Blue Bird Cottage has 2 bedrooms plus a loft, 1.5 bathrooms and a fireplace in the living room for those cozy evenings. This is one of the coziest homes and best locations on the Oregon coast!
Living Room: Electric Fireplace, Queen Sofa Sleeper, Flat Screen Roku TV, Blu Ray player and plenty of games.
Dining Room: Table that seats 6, ocean views and a sliding glass door to the deck.
Kitchen: Fully equipped including a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, range, blender, coffee pot and coffee grinder.
Master Bedroom: Queen Murphy bed, ocean views and a sliding glass door to the deck.
Bathroom 1: Large walk-in shower with beautiful slate tile and hairdryer.
UPSTAIRS:
Bedroom 2: Full size bed with a 4K Flat Screen 43” Roku TV and views of the ocean.
Loft/Bedroom 3: Twin bed and two skylights.

I had an excellent stay at Blue Bird Cottage. Check in was easy. They had a binder with house information that was very useful. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need, they provided dishwasher soap & laundry detergent, they had extra blankets, games, beach toys, everything you would need. The view and beach access are what make this place absolutely spectacular though, would 10/10 recommend.

We absolutely loved this cozy home and amazing views with a bonus private beach access! Amazingly quiet being so close to highway 101, we were pleasantly surprised. The kitchen is very well equipped, a luxury to have 3 televisions available and an electric fireplace to add to our cozy space . The home is very clean . The main shower is like a mini spa. We will definitely be back to enjoy this lovely home! Thank you for a great four night stay!

The cottage was well laid out and very quaint.The beach theme was evident in every room with trinkets and ocean colors. It was close enough to town but had the feel of an isolated cottage with a wonderful beach area. The atmosphere was relaxing and the sound of the waves mixed with the sea air, worked it's magic.

Great view and great beach access. Nice TV’s!
Wish the place had been cleaner, long hair stuck to bathroom rug and since counter space is limited I stored food like cereal boxes on top of the refrigerator and dusty crude was on the boxes when I pulled them down, and the clean dish rags smelled nasty.
Beds were either too soft or too firm, but that is a personal preference so others may enjoy.
Biggest issue is the dining table and chairs - they are in serious disrepair. Wobbly and will break on someone eventually. I am glad it wasn’t us, but it will be someone soon - guaranteed. Please be aware!! Until this is fixed or replaced it could cause injury.
Also had a bit of a time getting the lock box open and also experienced a difficult time once inside getting the door to unlock from the inside.
If the beds were comfortable, the table was not falling apart and the lockbox and front door lock functioned better I would have given the place 4.5 stars
