Welcome to Casalona, one of the few remaining vintage, single-level family homes directly on the oceanfront at Carolina Beach. Sleep four couples in private corners of the house, each side sharing a Jack n Jill bathroom. With its no-frills design, this cozy home offers a unique and comfortable beachside experience. Come take in the fresh ocean air and sounds of the waves while you relax on the large, furnished porch. Run up and down your own private walkway to the beach several times a day easily: you are so close! Enjoy the simple pleasures of a small seaside town in this charming beach cottage with restaurants and shops all within walking distance. This old-fashioned beach home is sure to make your vacation a memorable one; so be one of the families who comes back year after year to experience beach-focused living and falling asleep to the sound of the waves at Casalona.

Rental Policies:
In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.
Things to bring:
Paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, detergents, minimal cleaning supplies, and beach towels.
Arrival/Departure:
Summer Check-ins (June-August) begin at 4 pm and are guaranteed by 6 pm
Check-out is by 10 am.
We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pet Policy:
Pets Allowed 2 to 3 dogs -OR- two cats. Restrictions: 2 dogs of any kind OR 3 dogs under 15 lbs. allowed. The first dog is included in the price of the Rental. Subsequent dogs are subject to an additional payment and restrictions! Carolina and Kure Beaches are pet-friendly, but you must follow town guidelines. Please check the town website for beach pet restrictions.
Cancellation Policy:
We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.
Guest Access:
Our properties are individually owned, and our guests will have use of the entire property! Please refer to the listing for details.

Renting a golf cart or bike is easy, too, with several local rental companies. Golf carts are one of the easiest ways to cruise around the island. Rentals are simple to arrange, and once you're behind the wheel, you can zip along any road posted 35 mph or under.

The property was just as pictured. It was clean and comfortable. After getting the "OK" from the owners, we were able to bring 3 dogs. I also brought my vacuum to keep up with the fur even though we paid a pet fee. Many things that we were told to bring were actually stocked, maybe by past visitors. We didn't use the bunk bed room and one of the queen beds was not as comfortable as the other. The toilets are shorter than I am used to and were hard on my bad knees, but that's my issue I guess. A hand rail might have been nice though. Though we had no problems, I worried that I was unable to lock the gate in the parking area after we came through the gate for the night. It was only lockable on the outside. The fans were great in all the rooms. Nice and quiet. This was our annual Mom and Sons (and dogs) beach trip and my sons liked this place best of all the places that we've stayed in past years; all on one floor, plenty to do in the area, easy access to the beach, well equiped kitchen and comfortable furniture. Thanks for allowing us to borrow your place.

This property was perfect for our family. Easy access to the beach and to local restaurants and attractions. I appreciated that there were toys and chairs available for use during our time. The layout was as stated. We look forward to coming back soon!

Great location, but for what you pay, the house needs major upgrades. The biggest thing is the king bed and the bed next to it. They were so terribly old and uncomfortable that I had to go purchase mattress toppers which hardly helped. These mattresses have to be from the 90’s. My wife suffered with horrible back pain all week. Toilets were difficult to flush and extremely small. The check in process wasn’t easy, and Seacoast Vacation Rentals wasn’t easy to work with. Response times were very slow. For 5,300 for one week in the off-season, you just expect better. Really the only thing we loved was the location.
