Great place for our family to meet up and jump to local attractions.

Beautiful place, peaceful surroundings, with great views. This property lives up to its name, "Deer Haven Lodge". Deer roam the grounds freely. The house is cozy, well maintained and organized, and has beautiful decor. The owner provided necessary information, and we were able to communicate with her throughout our stay. We had a great time. We stayed at the Deer Haven Lodge and it was perfect! Very clean, spacious, and the view of the mountains is amazing. Air-conditioning was definitely a plus! The front porch allowed for lots of conversation and listening/playing guitar. It was about a 30 minute drive to Lake Placid but was great to come back to the tranquility of this property. There is a fire pit, grill and seating area in the backyard and plenty of animals to watch and enjoy I would totally recommend Deer Haven if you are looking for a true getaway while still having all the amenities of home!
