The home was lovely and the view amazing. However, to stay during peak daylight time (early July) and have NO black out curtains or shades was unacceptable! We were shocked as everyone we know for friends and family in AK have these for the summer months! The owner's response was basically suck it up, it's AK.Additionally several of the windows were inoperable and we were told by the owner to take one of the handles from another window which was ridiculous. And some of the windows still could not be opened!!! There was even a sign on one of the windows not to try to open.I don't understand how this would be acceptable for a property that was 1000 a night!!!

This property is AMAZING. So beautiful, so well appointed, so comfortable… just all around wonderful. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to AK. Only 10 minutes to the spit, gorgeous views, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. Spacious parking. Gorgeous yard. I cannot recommend enough.

Beautiful property with wonderful views of the Spit, Bay and glaciers! Easy access to the Spit and shopping in town. Had a great time!

This house is amazing. The couch and big comfy chairs are perfect for napping. The views of the bay and Homer Spit are incredible. The whole experience is beyond our expectations.
