There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms in the basement. There is a pull out bed in the basement and a sofa bed in the living room on the main floor. There is exactly enough dishware and towels for 12 people. There are not bedside lamps in most of the bedrooms, so that would be a nice addition by the owners, as well as a few more wine glasses, more cutlery, more towels, a BBQ etc. The house was clean and very quiet.

This is a clean home that looks well cared for. The rooms are accurately pictured in the description. However, it is somewhat sparse in some areas…furnishings are minimal (only one night stand in the master bedroom) and the kitchen is lacking in some basics. We rented this house as we were in town for the Manitoba Marathon and its proximity to the university where it started and ended, was ideal. However, the reason we rented a house was to be able to provide for our athlete’s pre-race dietary needs and cook specific meals. There were pots and pans, but no serving dishes. We were forced to use a fry pan to mix and serve the meal. The tv had no cable channels and we were unable to access any basic news or sports. The outdoor space is not useable as it is currently being used as a garden. I have rented many places on VRBO & Air B & B . This is the first time I was instructed where the vacuum and cleaning supplies were, and asked to ‘clean’ before I left. Overall we did like the house, but these issues are why I rated it less than a 5.

Very spacious and close to all amenities.

Communication with the host was great. The place was not very clean. We found hair in our sheets on several different beds and the floors in the basement were dirty upon arrival with hair/ dust. Overall had a great stay but definitely would have appreciated the place being more clean.
