From the house, the beach is about a few block walk ... and of course, once inside Dorado Del Mar ... you don`t have to exit the community to go to the beach.

The interstate is only about 7 min away, witch will connect you with the rest of the island.

Puerto Rico and the Caribbean are waiting for you. As in any beach in the Caribbean, there is a possibility of being bitten by insects while at the beach. Insects like the Sand Bite (Family Ceratopogonidae) which are endemic to the Caribbean are commonly known as no-see-ums, gnats, sand fleas, punkies, sand fly or bitten midgets. These tiny biting insects are barely visible to the naked eye, but their bites can be very annoying. The bite of a sand bites is actually a sting. The effects can be felt several hours after being bitten and are not harmful to human health. A small reddish or white welt, about the size of a freckle is a sure sign you have been bitten.
The best way to avoid being bitten is to spray with repellent when you are outside. They are most active during the mornings and evenings.
Use OFF Repellent to avoid being bitten so you can enjoy your vacation bite-free!

7- PLEASE DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE AROUND THE HOUSE.
8 - DO NOT HANG TOWELS OR CLOTHS ON THE RAILING - $150 WILL BE CHARGE!!!.
9 - THE OWNERS AND THE MANAGER ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS, INJURIES OR ILNESSES THAT OCCUR WHILE IN THE HOUSE OR FACILITIES. IN ADDITION, THEY ARE NOT RESPOSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OF PERSONAL BELONGINGS OR VALUABLES OF THE GUEST.
10 - THE PROPERTY AND ALL FURNITUR MUST BE KEPT IN GOOD CONDITION. IF ACTS OF VANDALISM OR DAMAGE TO ANY PROPERTY BELONGING ARE FOUND, THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE SAME WILL BE INVOICED.
11- DURING YOUR STAY, TOWELS ADN BED LINEN ARE AVAILABLE TO GUESTS, WHICH MUST BE DELIVERED IN THE SAME CONDITIONS IN WHICH THEY WERE RECEIVED. IF ANY ITEM IS MISSING OR DAMAGE, THE REPLACEMENT OF THE SAME WILL BE BILLED.

There are so many things to like about this place. The house is just as advertised and photographed. It is close to a beautiful beach and has a wonderful swimming pool. The house is very comfortable and the ACs work. Overall, we were very comfortable and happy.
There are some things you should know before you book. 1, there is no dishwasher. It doesn't say that there is one but I wish it had been clear that there was not one. This is an oversight on a big house like this. 2, given that there is no dishwasher, it is weird that they don't give you any dish towels and suggest that you use paper towels for everything. 3, the hot water is solar with no powered heater as a backup. There is a disconnected flow-through heater in the laundry area. This means that there is no hot water early in the morning. This is doubly true if you wash dishes by hand at night or do a load of laundry in warm water. 4, there is no ice. The in fridge ice maker doesn't work and the table top one they provide is broken. 5, lots of little things don't work - like 1/2 of the toaster. These small things are not a big deal but it tells you that the owners don't come survey the house periodically. There is no dresser in the primary
You could also use more information. For example, there were large amounts of trash in front of the house when we arrived and you get no info from the owners on trash/recycling etc. Also, how to get to the nice beach through the secret door in a parking lot...

This home was absolutely beautiful. Pictures of the place were 100% accurate. I took my grandparents and parents and noone was in anyone's space. Enjoyed the open concept of the livingroom, dining room and kitchen where we can all sit together no matter what. The pool was perfect for the morning or evening swim. I was a bit disappointed that the outside did not have fans likes the picture which is one of the things that drew my attention because i love being outside so it was very hot (but I did enjoy my lunch outside anyways). We felt super safe with security driving around at all times. Enjoyed the morning walk to the beach (10min walk). Walgreen, 24 supermarket and fast food are all within 5mins drive.
I do have to say, if you have someone with disabilities or eyesight issues this place may be a little challenge for you being that it has at least one steps up or down coming in, going to the kitchen or living room. But, nevertheless, I will be returning to this place. Truely felt at home!

House was perfect size for our group of 7 friends. We really enjoyed the outdoor area around the pool with a couch area, 2 hammocks and large table and chairs. Felt safe in a gated community. Beautiful Dorado beaches,10min drive. CVS, Walgreens & supermarket few minutes drive. Not much hot water for showers.
