The apartment is 60 m² in size. Fully furnished. Kitchen: Two coffee makers—one standard coffee maker and one Philips Senseo coffee pod machine (pods not included)—bread slicer, 150-liter refrigerator with freezer compartment, electric stove (4 burners and oven), dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, radio. Bedroom: Double bed (180x200 cm) with a crib (70x140 cm) for a child up to 6 years old. Living room: with a sofa bed, TV, wall unit, and table. The southwest-facing balcony (approx. 14 m²) is accessible from the living room. (It’s a highlight—not just for smokers.) A table, lounge chairs, and a parasol are provided there. Here you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of beer or wine to round off the day! Hallway: with coat rack and slippers. Bathroom: with shower and toilet, shampoo, and towels. Use of the garden with a beautiful garden pavilion—perfect for barbecuing. High-speed Wi-Fi. Free parking in front of the house.
All rooms are heated by central heating. All windows have roller shutters. The property is 780 m². The forest is about 400 m away. The accommodations are ideal for hiking and biking. Bicycles (for a small fee)—the kind where you still have to pedal yourself—are available for rent. In the very well-maintained garden, which features a pond, you’re of course welcome to have a barbecue. When the opportunity arises, we sometimes invite our guests to join us for a barbecue.
The village of Dankerode, with about 780 residents, is approximately 200 m away. There’s a Rewe supermarket, 2 hair salons, a general store, a butcher (who slaughters his own meat), a bakery, and 3 great restaurants.
The UNESCO World Heritage city of Quedlinburg is 30 km away, as are Stolberg—the town of Thomas Müntzer—and Thale, home to the famous Hexentanzplatz and the Bode Valley. The Brocken is about 60 km away.
Of course, the Harz Mountains offer many more attractions!
