This a beautiful place. The view is stunning…even prettier at night. We were there for the 4th of July and the fireworks all over the lake were gorgeous. There was a water main break down on the main road and our host kept us informed of any updates. There were plenty of stores to get bottled water and alll the locals were really friendly and accommodating. Went horseback riding at Brasstown Resort and kayaking on Lake Chatuge. Our only *oof* was the condition of the driveway after what I imagine was record rainfall. It was quite the off-road adventure for our boring Honda SUV. Our neighbors had a truck that was pulling a pontoon boat up and down with zero problems. The fireplace and string lights?! Doesn’t get more romantic!
