The Midland House is a beautifully restored farmhouse built in 1900 that`s just minutes from downtown Lexington so you`ll be close to local shops, restaurants, Washington & Lee University, and VMI. Since it`s close to local wineries, breweries, and several wedding venues, Midland House is a must stay!

The farmhouse is bright and airy with spacious bedrooms, luxurious bedding, and stylish decor and the soaking tub in the upstairs bathroom invites you to take in the pastoral views. There is ample parking at The Midland House which is good because you`ll definitely need your own transportation. Being that this is such a rural area, there is limited public transit and the area is not walkable.

We do not live on the property, but we have a local team who can provide assistance as necessary. We will not interfere with our guests` visit but can always be reached by message, email, or phone.

We are a 10 minute drive to downtown Lexington, a 10 minute drive to the VA Horse Center, and a 20 minute drive to Natural Bridge. Big Spring Farm is only a minute away!
