The Versalir Cabin is more a house then a cabin. It's luxery and well equiped. It has a very good shower and beds where you can sleep very well. It was very easy to find based on a detailed description of the owner. Even when you're not familiar with reading maps, you cann't miss it. We've received the arrival information weeks before our stay, which was comfortable. Although the weather during our stay could be improved we enjoyed the environment very much.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin near Selfoss. It is the perfect home base for exploring the area—with a hot tub to enjoy afterwards. The cabin has a large, well-equipped kitchen, so we could easily prepare meals to start and end our days. The cabin is conveniently located close to town, yet felt so remote. We slept incredibly well in such a beautiful & peaceful setting. It was definitely difficult to leave!

This was the perfect accommodation for our family to explore the wonders of Iceland! We were able to easily see Reykjavik, Golden Circle, the South Coast, and come back to a comfortable cabin each evening—including a hot tub soak with glorious views. Selfoss was a great little home base for restaurants and groceries.
