Access to many of the walks on the surrounding fells and woodlands is just a short walk away. Keswick has a twice weekly market in the pedestrian area around the Moot Hall and hosts many annual festivals throughout the year ranging from the mid-summer festival to jazz and blues, films, beer and mountain sports.
