We absolutely loved our stay! As a family of four, this property was absolutely perfect for us.From the moment we booked, Ann was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, thorough, and so easy to communicate with. She made everything effortless and was always available whenever we had a question.The property is even more charming in person. It was impeccably clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could have possibly needed. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together at the house.The location couldn’t have been better. Having access to the private beach was a true highlight and made our stay feel extra special. We took the kayaks out every single day, and it became one of our family’s favorite parts of the trip. We stayed over the Fourth of July weekend, and it was the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.Another bonus was how close everything was. The charming town of Chester is only about a 12-minute drive away and is full of adorable little shops and wonderful restaurants. We especially loved Honeycone Craft Ice Cream—it was some of the best ice cream we’ve had!Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. An amazing stay...! We booked this place to see our son in a show at the Goodspeed Theater, but got so much more! Huge back yard right on the Connecticut River. Went kayaking a couple of times with equipment provided by the host. Tons of birds and even saw a few Bald Eagles! Front of the house overlooks the Goodspeed airport, which was awesome as a pilot in training to watch a bunch of take offs and landings. Kitchen is very well equipped and the sheets and towels were soft and smelled awesome! The back deck is great to sit out and watch the river and play one of the numerous games or read a book. Highly recommend!

Unique and beautiful spot! House was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor space is amazing. Ann was very responsive and answered all my questions before we arrived. Instructions for getting to the property and checking in were very clear. We can’t wait to come back!

Best location for us. Beautiful and set apart from tourist traffic. We enjoyed watching activities on the river or watching the airport activities from the front yard.The evenings were peaceful though with little to no airplane traffic. In the spacious backyard we enjoyed sitting by a fire in the cool evenings.The house was immaculately clean and homey. Fully equipped kitchen.
