Come relax and take in the quiet beauty of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Our seven log cabins overlook Otter Lake, a 900-acre sport fishing, paddling and boating paradise. Built by Finnish settlers in the 1930s, the cabins offer full kitchens and baths, cozy comforts and traditional Scandinavian décor.
Cabin #5 sleeps two and offers a cozy floorplan and large deck.
Features include:
1) Two-room efficiency: main living area + bathroom. Two twin beds.
2) Traditional Finnish wood frame construction with log trim
3) Kitchen includes sink, full size refrigerator and countertop burners (no oven)
4) Full bath with shower
5) Reserved parking next to cabin
The cabin also includes a 12-foot aluminum boat for your use. Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards are also available. More than 300 feet of shoreline, two docks and acres to explore!
House Rules:
-No children are permitted to take a boat out unless accompanied by an adult. The boat operator is responsible for any damage, accident or casualty.
-No cleaning of fish in the cabin. There is a fish cleaning table with water, lights and waste pails behind the cabins.
-Absolutely no burning of the fireplaces. They are not operable.
-Dogs are allowed, up to 2 pets per cabin. There are additional pet fees (see add-ons).
