This is one of my favorite mountain cabins I’ve ever visited! It’s authentic, remote, and the area is beautiful. We loved walking the dirt roads, wading the creek, having a campfire by the creek, and hanging out on the porch. Everything we needed was easy to find. There are miles of trails and scenic roads to explore nearby. Elijay is a precious town, not too far away. We enjoyed walking the main streets and eating at the Corner Cafe and River Street Tavern. We will be back!!

The WiFi / service is not that good.You can tell not many people come through this cabin. But hasn’t been cleaned thoroughly like it needs to be. You can see the coffee pot and toaster hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The spot was really nice and to be able to sit outside in front of the water was nice as well. We did enjoy the stay, but some things need to be updated. The cleaning needs to more thorough, don’t forget the small stuff.
