Ridgemont House is an expansive home offering 4 bedrooms and 3.5 artfully designed bathrooms. The property sleeps 8.
Each bedroom is individually climate-controlled, providing a cool escape from the tropical sun. Plush king-sized and double beds are draped in fresh linens, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone.
The estate is set majestically in over half an acre of peaceful, landscaped gardens, offering secure private parking for three vehicles. Guests with mobility considerations will appreciate our thoughtful ground-level access to the parking, the balcony, living space, open-plan kitchen, elegant dining, and fourth ensuite bedroom with individual access. The villa also benefits from a dedicated water reserve, a key feature for tropical living.
The villa showcases vibrant Caribbean architecture complemented by lush tropical landscaping, a dedicated BBQ area, a lavishly furnished entertainment deck, and strategic view-maximizing balconies. The main patio presents the perfect setting for starlit dinners, protected by two generous parasols and surrounded by botanical splendor. Michelle was a great host! Seamless check in, stay, and check out. Pool was fantastic and the location was great providing several options of activities in Gros Inlet.

My family and I enjoyed a 9 day stay at Ridgemont and we loved the property! We truly enjoyed the space which was both beautiful and peaceful; we felt very safe. The hosts were supportive with any questions and even assisted with matters outside the property itself. They were very responsive and delivered beyond our expectations. Ridgemont is our home away from home and would certainly share with any friends or family intending to visit St. Lucia.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa was clean and well equipped. We loved the pool and the tranquil setting. Definitely need a car as not much within walking distance, plenty of good restaurants and beaches a short drive away. Michelle was a great host, very welcoming and gave us lots of information about places to visit/eat during our stay. A highlight was watching the hummingbirds in the garden in the morning.

We found Michelle very helpful. We appreciated her help with places to go & organising a taxi for us.
However I felt the villa wasn’t ready for paying guests yet.
As previously mentioned the track to the villa is not good, it is steep and unmade, we had to leave our car at the top of the road and walk down to the villa, not easy especially at night and not suitable if you have mobility problems.
Upon arrival debris from previous guests, who had left days ago was found in the dressing room, the cleaners came the next morning, however we still found dirty crockery in the cupboard and the cutlery drawer had dried on food on it. We stayed for a week but did not have another visit from the cleaner, not as listing says.
The second bedroom is accessed from the outside of the property, probably only suitable for adults.
I wouldn’t describe it as exquisitely furnished, the bedrooms have built in wardrobes/ dressing room but very little other furniture. Those of our party using bedrooms 3 & 4 used the floor for their suitcases.
The sun umbrella was broken, apparently there are more on order, not much help for our stay.
We also found the lounge area of the villa very hot in the evenings, even with the ceiling fans on. The villa we had for our first week had bug shields at the windows, this one doesn’t so if you have the windows open for the breeze you also have mosquitoes, we were also getting bitten sitting outside, despite using bug spray.
