Tree-lined streets and beautifully preserved homes give the area a timeless feel, while just around the corner, NW 23rd Avenue (affectionately known as “Trendy Third”) buzzes with life. This popular stretch is packed with locally owned boutiques, chef-driven restaurants, cozy cafés, cocktail bars, and dessert spots like Salt & Straw and Papa Haydn. Whether you’re up for a leisurely brunch, window shopping, or an evening of wine and small plates, it’s all right outside your door.



Outdoor lovers will appreciate being minutes from Washington Park—home to the world-renowned Japanese Garden, International Rose Test Garden, and Oregon Zoo. 🚶 Walking — The Nob Hill / Alphabet District is one of Portland's most walkable neighborhoods. NW 23rd and NW 21st avenues are lined with restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and bars — all within a few minutes' walk.



🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 15 (Belmont/NW 23rd) runs along NW 23rd Avenue with frequent service every 15 minutes to downtown (~10 min).



🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Portland's extensive bike lane network makes cycling easy and safe throughout the city.



🚗 Driving — Street parking is available (read signs for time limits and meters). Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) typically arrives in under 5 minutes.



✈️ Airport — PDX is about 20 minutes by car or reachable via MAX Blue/Red Line from nearby Providence Park station.



Other Things to Note:

We want your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Please note the following:



• You must take approx. 6 stair-steps to reach the apartment front door

• This is a first-floor apartment in a multi-unit historic building, so sound from upstairs or neighboring units can carry at times.

• The bedroom is street-facing along lively NW 23rd, so traffic/sidewalk noise and street lighting can be noticeable at night. Curtains are provided but are not blackout; light/sound-sensitive guests may want an eye mask, earplugs, or white noise.

• There is no dedicated parking, but metered street parking is available all around. Meters accept cards and you can also use the Parking Kitty app.

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
