Clean and comfortable two bedroom house in a rural mountain setting. The booking and check-in process were both simple and without a problem. About a 45 minute drive to Shenandoah National Park and approx. the halfway point of Skyline Drive. Priced fairly. The only potentially major drawback to this property is the 1 mile “road” back to it. There are some deep ruts, wash outs, and soft shoulders that may not be a big deal for vehicles such as pickup trucks and many SUV’s but I personally wouldn’t risk taking a regular car on it. I maneuvered my Silverado up and down it ten careful times. There are vehicles I’ve owned that I would not risk damaging. I’m not sure, but there seems to be something positive happening near the top of the road. Several mangled culvert pipes, jammed with soil and rock are lying on the roadside. I’d probably stay here again but not without first confirming that the condition of this “road” is significantly improved. We thought that the property itself is nice, clean, and comfortable.

Fantastic location and fantastic host. If you are coming to the Shenandoah area, this is the perfect spot.

This place was beautiful and clean. It had everything you needed. It also was pretty close to Shenandoah. I would definitely recommend it! Great host with great communication.
