The Outer Banks vacation rental home "II Views" is located at 110 Sutton Avenue in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina at Mile Post 8. This cottage has a lot of amenities and VERY easy beach access.
Ground Level: Offers an additional private room with a separate exterior entrance from the main home (no interior access to the top level). This room offers 2 Single Beds, TV/VCR, a full bathroom and a beach storage room with washer and dryer.
Top Level: Great room with TV/DVD/VCR, dining room seating 8 with deck access combined with the kitchen area, full hall bathroom, Queen Master Bedroom with TV and private bath, Bedroom with 2 Singles and a Queen Bedroom.
Extras: 3 TVs, 2 DVD players, high-speed wireless internet, books, games, washer/dryer, charcoal grill, ceiling fans, enclosed outside shower, picnic table, parking for 4 cars, sun deck and deck furniture. No Smoking. NO PETS. Full week rentals only. Distance to beach access: 1200'. Beds: 2 Queens, 4 Singles, 2 Rollaway Beds. House Address: 110 Sutton Ave, Kill Devil Hills. Linens can be requested as early as time of booking. Weekly cost: $200.00 not including tax or bed making service.

The house was perfect! All the comforts of home in walking distance to the beach. Slightly dated but the vibe was definately beachy and comfy.

Our visit was in mid-August.
The interior was "dated" but livable.
The place was "clean enough" for a beach house.
The combined kitchen/dining area is small, but still usable.
There is NO recycling in this neighborhood.
The AC unit is very good.
The ground floor bedroom was dampish and cold, wasn't comfortable for sleeping, and harmless bugs which freaked the kids.
The bathroom/shower room on ground floor is a step up from floor level which may be an issue for elderly. Also, that shower stall floor was slippery.
The two underneath parking spaces are great for keeping your vehicles out of the hot sun!
The washer and dryer are old equipment but work well.
The 30A/240V dryer outlet is accessible for charging an EV, but you will need a 25ft extension cable.
The neighborhood is quiet, and very few cars on the street.
The walk to the beach is conviently right down the same street, just two blocks, but crossing one busy road (Rt 12).
The Sutton Ave beach access parking lot was mostly empty, so it would be easy to drive and park instead of walk.
Don't bother renting bikes to be delivered, as there is no worthwhile places in the immediate vicinity to bike, and the "paths" along the major roadway are narrow. Ain't worth the risk.
Note to manager/owner:
A real safety concern is the lack of a contiguous handrail alongside the steps to the 1st floor. This is something that should be corrected! Relying on the balusters instead of a normal handrail cannot be up to code!

This beach house was a great location to the beach and fit by entire family comfortably i would return here every year
