It was a good location and good price. The studio apartment was clean and cozy. The neighborhood was a bit crowded as the studio is over the garage and entry is off the alley. That said it was relatively quiet and close to stores. A few suggestions: dish towels and/ or paper towels were not provided. Dishes couldn’t go in microwave which impacted some of my meal prep. No hand soap in kitchen although there was dish soap. Shampoo and conditioner and body wash in shower were almost empty as was Body lotion. I had my own products so it wasn’t a problem for me. I mention these things only because my experience in other places I have stayed is that all were provided.

Overall, this studio is adequate. I stayed for a week, and it was disappointing to experience deficiencies that had been mentioned in prior reviews but not corrected —get some new pillows and ice cube trays already! I was staying for a week and had to buy myself a pillow. I made ice by freezing small amounts of water in plastic glasses. Don’t get me wrong, creative problem solving is great, but when you realize the only toilet paper in the whole place is the partial roll that was there when you arrived, and you have to make a second trip to Walmart while on vacation, the shine wears off.Also there’s no place to put anything down and minimal lamps. Want to sit on the couch with your coffee? Great, but there are no end tables. Want to have someplace to put your glasses and book next to the bed? There are no night stands. There are also no coat hooks should you want to put your coat or hat anywhere but the couch. I was there for a week and planned to cook — a plan that became challenging because the instructions for the counter-intuitive cooktop were not in the drawer as described or anywhere else, and then I discovered that I basically could only cook on low or maybe medium, because the smoke alarm would go off repeatedly. Also, paper towels are a lovely modern convenience but they do not substitute for kitchen towels of which there are none. Overall, the place is adequate but it’s just not thoughtfully put together.
