Über diese haus dieses Ferienunterkunft
On the Beaufort River, 6 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Parris Island! This family home, designed and built in 1955, has been lovingly restored to its original 1950’s charm. With 4 bedrooms (1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 4 twin beds), 2-1/2 baths, (1 with walk in shower) it sleeps 8 comfortably. Located in quiet Pigeon Point, it offers a large living room, intimate dining room, and cozy den. Spacious kitchen with reclaimed wood floors features an electric range, dishwasher, microwave, and two refrigerators. Washer and dryer in laundry room just off kitchen. A large screened porch offers water views or stroll down the 200 foot dock to a roofed gazebo on the creek, and a large floating dock encourages swimming during warm weather months. Any time of year you may catch a glimpse of herons, egrets, or marsh hens. Or for that matter another type of "bird": F/A18s or F35Bs from nearby Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. Expect some occasional jet noise, but enjoy the show! Gorgeous sunsets!

This home is beautiful, spacious, and has so much character. Nestled in a safe, quiet neighborhood, it offers sidewalks for walking, and a small park with swings at the end of the road to sit and watch the sunset. It's own private dock is great for crabbing, fishing, birdwatching, and enjoying the changing of the tide in the marshland. This house is a true treasure. You will not be disappointed!

It was adequate. Our first two days we had only one shower as the electricity was not working. Also we were given the wrong password for the Wi-Fi and the owner had to have some else give us the correct one. The happened the next day. It was reported that there was a high chair…. There was not. There was a chair for a small child with no straps/belt. The oven was not working correctly so it took almost 90 minutes to cook boneless chicken breast tenders at 425. The place was a very quaint lake house that was well stocked with kitchen supplies. Overall, it was adequate.
