Stately neoclassical mansions, cool cafes, eclectic eateries and homey pubs line oak-shaded streets in the charming Uptown area. Handmade jewelry, local antiques, and vintage Mardi Gras costumes are on sale at the monthly Little Flea NOLA market, while a stretch of Magazine Street has antique shops and clothing boutiques. Audubon Park is a great local gathering spot.

Afternoon light pours through tall windows here, warming wide-plank floors and well-worn details that speak to this home's Creole roots. You'll find yourself drawn to the patio with a cup of coffee as cooler weather settles over the city, then back inside to a living area built for slowing down. It's a place that holds onto its history while still feeling easy to live in.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms are made up with plush beds and soft linens, set up for up to six guests. Room-darkening blinds keep mornings quiet after a late night out, and the curated décor throughout gives each room its own character. Two full bathrooms serve the home, one with a clawfoot tub for a long soak and another with an updated walk-in shower, both stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body soap.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is set up for real cooking, with a stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and the cooking basics already on hand. Gather around the dining table for a home-cooked meal, or carry plates out to the patio when the weather cooperates. A filter coffee maker and coffee are provided, so mornings can start right at home before heading out.

Outdoor living
The fully fenced back garden gives you a private patch of grass and a patio set with outdoor furniture, good for a slow breakfast or drinks as the evening cools down. It's a space that works whether you're traveling with kids who need room to roam or just want a quiet spot to yourself. Free street parking and a single-level layout, with no stairs, round out the practical side of things.

Convenience & amenities
A dedicated workspace and wifi keep you connected if you need to check in on work, and the Smart TV is there when you'd rather unwind. In-unit washer and dryer, central air conditioning, ceiling fans, and central heating keep things comfortable regardless of the season. Traveling with little ones is made easier with a travel cot and high chair available on request, plus babysitter recommendations if you need an evening to yourselves. Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and exterior security cameras are in place for peace of mind.

Neighborhood
You're about four blocks from Magazine Street, close enough to walk to cafés, boutiques, bars, and the riverfront whenever the mood strikes. Hop the streetcar for a quick ride toward the French Quarter, Superdome, or Audubon Park, making this an easy home base whether you're in town for a festival, Mardi Gras, or just a laid-back stretch of days in Uptown.
