A cosy apartment retreat, this well-designed holiday home in Porthleven is ideal for solo travellers or couples looking for a relaxed coastal getaway. The space features a smart fold-down double bed that doubles as a sofa, along with a stylish open-plan layout. Small pets are welcome, making it a suitable option for guests with furry companions, though limited space is more appropriate for smaller breeds. Free street parking is available nearby, and the property includes a small patio area for enjoying the fresh air. There are no additional on-site activities or rentals, but its compact design ensures all essentials are within reach.
Nestled down a narrow lane between traditional fishermen’s cottages, this apartment places you just minutes from Porthleven’s picturesque harbourfront. The local area offers bakeries, convenience stores, restaurants, and cafés, including renowned dining spots like Kota Kai and Michael Caines’ harbourfront restaurant. Beach lovers will appreciate the short 300-metre walk to the sand, while adventurers can explore the Lizard Peninsula, St Michael’s Mount, and the theatre at Minack. Day trips to Gwithian Sands, Carbis Bay, or St Ives are within easy reach by car.
Inside, the apartment includes a fully equipped kitchenette with an electric hob, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, and a combined microwave-oven. The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Additional comforts include heating, a standing fan, a TV, and standard-width doorways throughout. Note that the sofa-bed must be manually pulled down and pushed back up when converting between seating and sleeping.
