A luxurious chalet consisting of two lodges that blend traditional construction with modern design.
MONTANA 1 is a 220 m² lodge that can accommodate 12 people. The slopes are just 150 meters from your private, fully equipped ski room, complete with boot dryers.
Ideally located, the chalet was designed with sustainability and luxury in mind. The larch timber frame is hand-hewn in the traditional style; some walls are clad in Alpine stone; and a stylish, high-capacity pellet stove will let you enjoy evenings with friends by the fire in the spacious living room. A spacious, fully equipped open kitchen lets you prepare dinners in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. After an active day of skiing, snowboarding, or biking, you can also relax and enjoy the sauna and its relaxation room, or play foosball with friends. You’ll also be captivated by the view from the chalet, which showcases its incredible location.

We have enjoyed the stay very much. The house is lovingly furnished. Great kitchen, great living room, great view. A nice sauna.
Ski lift 5 min walk.
Unfortunately, some of the rooms had a shower, but no private toilet. We had expected four complete bathrooms.
We would come again.

We have stayed in Vilard Reculas several times, in several chalets. Le Montana is one we would definitely return to. A generous and really comfortable living space and we loved the sauna and table football! Spotlessly clean. Probably suited better to a maximum of 8 adults and 4 children given that one room is a 4 bedded bunk room and the bedrooms are (as often) compact. But the bathroom and shower provision was generous with plenty of hot water. If we were really particular, we’d ask for bigger beds - although comfortable, French doubles are very cosy for 2!! Very conveniently situated for direct access to the slopes but also easy to drive down the hill and park in Vilard Reculas for beginners. Thank you Karine for your hospitality.

The Chalet is even better than it looks in the pictures. Beautifully presented and with everything you need for a large group including a really well equipped kitchen, lovely seating area, sauna and beautiful views from the balcony. Villard Reculas has great access to the main Alpe d'Huez ski area - just 100m up the road to the nearest piste (and ski in when there has been snow!). The village is small and picturesque, very quiet but with a great ski rental shop and convenience store. Karine was also a great host, explained everything about the chalet and was contactable with any questions we had. Would 100% recommend Le Montana as a place to stay.
