Über diese resort
Experience the perfect blend of alpine adventure and refined comfort at Marriott’s Timber Lodge, a stylish 2-bedroom villa ideally located in the heart of Lake Tahoe’s South Shore. Enjoy a world-class Marriott resort stay—often at 30–70% savings compared to booking directly with the resort.
All villas are professionally managed and meticulously maintained by Marriott, ensuring consistent quality and peace of mind. Upon arrival, guests check in seamlessly at the resort’s front desk using their resort confirmation number, just as if they had booked directly. Every reservation includes full access to the resort’s services and amenities, allowing you to relax and enjoy your stay from the moment you arrive.
Perfectly situated within Heavenly Village, the resort places you at the center of Tahoe’s most iconic experiences. Just steps from your door, one of the world’s largest gondolas whisks you to the summit of Heavenly Mountain, home to the area’s longest ski runs and greatest vertical drop—making it a dream destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
Beyond skiing and snowboarding, Lake Tahoe offers year-round adventure. Enjoy hiking and biking through scenic mountain trails, tee off at nearby championship golf courses, or relax by the crystal-clear waters of the lake during warmer months. Each season unveils a new way to explore and unwind.
After a day outdoors, return to your inviting 2-bedroom villa, a cozy alpine retreat designed for comfort and relaxation—perfect for couples or solo travelers seeking both convenience and luxury. Whether you’re chasing powder in winter or sunshine in summer, Marriott’s Timber Lodge delivers an unforgettable Tahoe escape where adventure and comfort meet.
** All villas are assigned at check in
** Marriott's Timber Lodge will no longer be providing Beach Passes for Lakeside Beach which were previously distributed for use between the Memorial Day and Labor Day holidays.
** Please make sure to check local travel requirements before you book and before you leave.
** The resort is undergoing roof enhancements that will occur from Mar. 1, 2026 to Nov. 30, 2026. Please anticipate construction noise and obstructed views during this time.

Our vacation rental at Timber Lodge was a great experience. The communication with Vacation Candy was reliable, accurate, and timely. Our accommodations suited us perfectly, were spotlessly clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful with our questions. Being just steps from the gondola made getting to the slopes a breeze and we appreciated the ski valet at the end of a long day of skiing. We will stay here again!

Location was great right next to the Gondala. Happened to snow right before we arrived so lifts were open. The two bedroom was perfect for our family of 5. The washer and dryer in the unit were so helpful for a ski week. The fitness center had everything I needed to stay on track. Bathroom shower stall could use some updating but over all was great.

This resort is in a perfect location, just steps away from gondola, shopping and dining. The condo met all our needs. It was clean, beds were comfortable. It was nice having washer/dryer in the unit. The resort was very accommodating with early check-in and late check-out. I would definitely stay here again.
