THE FOUR WINDS Cottages are RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE OCEAN at Mile post 17.5
8310 S Old Oregon Inlet Rd in lovely South Nags Head.
Four winds #1 is decorated in a Tropical decor and is SENIOR FRIENDLY. Only one level, with no stairs to climb.
We provide an amenities package-starter package for all guest's. It includes the following:
Sheet sets for all beds(WE DO NOT MAKE THE BEDS WITH THE SHEETS. YOUR SHEET SETS WILL COME IN A VACCUMMED SEALED BAG), one towel set that the house sleeps, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bath, 2 bars of soap per bath, 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 dishwasher pods, and one travel size bottle of dish soap.
Inside, you’ll find the the comfortable living room has leather furniture and a Coffee Table with Foosball table built right in!
There are also SMART TVs in the living room and bedrooms, FREE WI-FI and a DVD player.
Over the Winter we updated/remodeled this kitchen and we even added a dishwasher.
A fully equipped kitchen is all you need to keep your hungry family happy. Or you can enjoy the yard and barbeque on the charcoal grill. Eat on the picnic table for a nice meal in nature.
The pleasant Screened In Porch allows you to enjoy the Ocean breezes without those pesky bugs.
Not your turn yet for the shower? No problem. The outdoor shower has hot & cold water and is enclosed for privacy.
This home is ideal for small families, including the four-legged members. There is even a fenced in yard!

Pet fee is $100 per week per pet + tax. Or if less than a week, Pet fee is $15 per day per pet + tax.
PET FEE AND OTHER OPTIONS MUST BE PAID FOR SEPARATELY:

1. Evacuation Fee (5% of your total).
2. Beach Chairs & Umbrellas rental. - $12 & $15 for the entire week
3. Pet fee is $100 per week per pet

It's a smaller unit meant for no more than 4, which worked for three of us. We also had our lab pup with us who discovered the ocean for the first time ever!! The unit has a lot of wood and wood paneling so there were creaks and sounds almost always, bit eventually we got used to it. The location was literally across the street from the ocean. You cannot see it from the rental, but a short walk down and across the street and your on the sand!

This cottage was very clean . Well equipped and appeared to be well maintained . We enjoyed its close proximity to everything. Short walk to beach access. Area was safe and quiet . Enjoyed other couples dogs . Had relaxing mornings on our screened porch sipping our coffee . Small outside area was perfect for grilling our steaks and seafood. Already planning another trip to visit

This was the perfect little cottage for a quick getaway. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. Location was great, just a quick 2-minute walk across the street to the private beach entrance. The host was great, called to let us know the cottage was ready early, so we could check in as soon as we go to town. The listing is very accurate. If you’re looking for something fancy, this is not it. But, if you like the "true" cottage experience, you will not be disappointed. Side note, the private beach entrance is nice however if you are older or have some physical disabilities, the terrain could be challenging. We ended up driving the 5 minutes or so down the road to Coquina Beach. Free admission, restrooms, outdoor showers, and lots of parking. Beach access was great for us that love the sand but find it challenging at times. All in all, we had a great time, and this cottage was perfect for the time we spent in the OBX. :)We would definiately stay again!

The cottage was underwhelming due to its age and outdated decor. The furnishings seem to have seen some use. Even though you’re at the beach, it would be nice to have a large screen TV at night and instead of a DVD player a Roku (or similar). The “fenced yard” for the dogs isn’t practical and all rocks. The check in process was easy and the cottage was clean. The public beach access is about a two minute walk away - you have to cross a busy highway. Negs Head is a wonderful city along with all the small OBX cities. Also, the property manager hung out at the end of the driveway while we were packing - seemed like he was checking to make sure we left before 10am.
