Cable car 1.5 km, skisport facilities 1.5 km, slopes 50 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

The Mioche chalet was a dream! The location offered an amazing view from the patio and the living room has large French style doors with full windows. You can see waterfalls and beautiful rolling hills as you’re relaxing in the living room. While you’re eating breakfast the breathtaking scenery of Wengen is right there. The chalet is spacious and only a 15 minute walk to Wengen. There’s access to hiking trails everywhere and well labeled. There are no cars, accessing Wengen is by train from Lauterbrunnen. Lauterbrunnen is only a 10 minute train ride. We were able to do everything we set out to, and staying in Wengen at the Mioche chalet was a wonderful experience!

Stunning views and wonderful chalet tucked up the mountain. Quiet and away from town, provided an excellent spot to spend a few days. Would stay here again.

Very charming and comfortable chalet, built in a traditional style, the rooms offered a breathtaking view.
Although it's a bit outside the city center and the train station, it's easily reachable either with a 15-minute walk or in just a few minutes by using the local taxi service.
The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and functional, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for quick meals or hot drinks. Overall cleanliness was excellent. The Wi-Fi and TVs were also great.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have traveled to many countries in my life and this property has some of the best views I’ve ever seen. The common statement by friends when they see the pictures is “that doesn’t look real”. It didn’t look real when I was standing outside looking at the mountains and waterfalls from the property either. The pictures don’t do it justice.
