Had a great stay at Chris & Carole's apartment. Hosts very good at prompt communication. Friendly, informative arrival greeting from Alison. Beautiful views from the terrace. Clean & well equipped. Had everything we needed as a family of 4 with 2 teens. Comfy beds which we appreciated. Teens enjoyed the pool which didn't get noisy or too busy during our stay. We found a car to be essential as there during a heatwave and walking up and down the steep hill to the lagoon 20mins, beach/sea 35mins was too much in the heat. Lagoon is huge and has great swimming spots. We also explored it further by canoe. Easy drive to Caldas for supermarkets/market (nice cool park in centre also), Nazare (iconic), Peniche (lovely headland walk), Baleal beach (great surf vibe, perfect for surfing lessons). Straightforward drive from Lisbon. We really enjoyed our time in the area. Thank you!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this property in Foz do Arelho. The apartment is exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, quiet, with an absolutely gorgeous view of the lagoon and ocean. Communication with both the owner and the property manager was excellent. We would highly recommend the apartment.
