My daughter’s wedding was at a nearby venue . We rented both of the owners houses for the wedding party . This one and the smaller ( if you can call it that ) next door . The houses are beautiful , the rooms are large and inviting . The balconies overlooking the river great for spending time with everyone .When the planned rehearsal dinner venue had a power outage … we decided to hold the dinner at this house and everyone agreed it was better than being at the original venue Shout out to the Hearty Hog for supplying enough food for 30 people in two hours That being said we will be back 10/10 !!! Would recommend either of the homes . Misty was a perfect hostess and answered any questions immediately when I asked . So happy we found this gem of a house in a beautiful location

A group of us take a fishing trip every spring. Been going to a different place for 10 years. Been going here for the last 3 years the perfect set up.

The house was nice and big to accommodate our family gathering. Even though it’s winter we had a warm enough day to use the kayaks and fish on the dock. The fire pit was on a slight angle and didn’t have any chairs by it so we didn’t get a chance to use it (I’d change the layout of it). The hot tub was nice. The house has so many activities for kids which was a plus. Plus, it has 3 refrigerators so it held all our food and drinks without needing coolers. So many balconies in this house, such beautiful views. Would definitely stay here again!

“I felt that the house could be better stocked to accommodate the number of guests it holds, especially for longer stays. It would be great to have extra towels available, as reusing the same one isn’t ideal. Also, the TV in the master bedroom felt quite small—since the master suite is a key part of the experience, a larger screen would enhance the stay. Additionally, providing essentials like laundry detergent would be really helpful, as many guests choose to rent a home for the convenience of doing laundry during their stay.”
