Magnolia Cabin is a lovely space, but the real treasure is the thriving forest it sits in. The hosts purchased 11 acres, simply to preserve it and enjoy the flora and fauna it offers. Best yet: the property connects on its north end to the expansive Kisatchie National Forest; deer, foxes, opossums, armadillos and creatures large and small are at home here. Birdsong can be expected each morning. Eagles, hawks, woodpeckers, cardinals and many other bird species are regular sights.
