Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen - 14 minutes travel time.

Alcove with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. Balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds (extra), hair dryer. Top level apartment with great mountain/valley views from the balcony. About 8 min walk to the train station, grocery store and everything else in Wengen.
Wengen is a great location for many sightseeing places around Interlaken. It is the last station covered by Swiss Travel pass - going higher requires additional ticket(s).
Gets warm in the hot weather (has no AC) but opening windows and running provided fan in the evening made it perfectly fine. Sleeping areas are in the lofted parts of it (slanted and low ceilings) but this was not an issue for us. Kitchen has everything we needed for prepping breakfast and occasional evening meals.

The pictures of the apartment made it look much more modern than it really was. Since it was basically an attic accommodation the beds were situated where you had to duck down to get to them to avoid hitting your head on the sloped ceiling. The view of the Eiger from the balcony was spectacular. We did have breakfast on the balcony 2 of the mornings we stayed there. The location was not bad. Very short walk to the train station and the Coop market. Wengen is a great place to day trip from!
