Located on the Esplanade, it’s just a short stroll over the road to the beach, where the vast stretches of sand offer you fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth. Here, the landmark Spinnaker Tower forms an impressive backdrop. Along the promenade, you will find tennis courts, ten pin bowling, a fun fair, canoe lake and a swimming pool, providing plenty to do within the local area. You can also enjoy the scenic coastal walks, go crabbing, sailing, fishing, horse riding, golf or even go-karting, all of which are easily accessible from the property.

Ryde is known as the gateway to the island as it can be easily reached within just two hours directly from London Waterloo via train, which connects with the island’s catamaran and hovercraft services via Portsmouth and Southsea. Mainland motorways also connect directly with car ferry ports located at nearby Fishbourne or East Cowes. There are numerous attractions across the island to discover for all ages, including The Needles, with its chairlift, amusement park, boat rides, lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Bay. Visit Queen Victoria’s favourite holiday residence, Osborne House and its gardens, Blackgang Chine, the oldest themed attraction in the UK, Ventnor Botanic Garden, Tapnell Farm Park, Carisbrooke Castle or the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes.
