Located at the foot of the El Yunque Rainforest this beach house is in the most desirable area of Puerto Rico. The house is on the northeast side of the island, is bordered by a 1,000-acre mangrove forest preserve, and is on a secluded beach between two of the best resorts on the island, the Wyndham Reo Mar, and the Hyatt Grand Reserve Resort. It is on one of the 12 Fincas (Farms) on the Las Picuas road which were protected from commercial development and boasts a quiet and secluded beachfront. The beach is calm and beautiful, ideal for paddle boards, kyacks, fishing, kite sailing, and more. Shaded by palms, it is a great place to hang out and picnic.
The house was originally built by a pool designer and has spectacular, resort-like outdoor areas. Tropical gardens and palm trees surround the private pool, huge in-ground hot tub/jacuzzi, bathhouse, tiki bar with pizza oven, outdoor kitchen, and BBQ area.
The house has 3 Bedrooms and 2 baths plus an additional bath in the pool house. It has two levels with kitchens and baths and laundries on both levels. A huge patio encourages the enjoyment of the tropical scenery. It is air-conditioned and has the latest technology including satellite TV, high-speed internet with wifi and ethernet connections, and USB outlets. In addition to the bedrooms, there are two sleeper sofas.
It is minutes from Puerto Rico's best attractions, including paddleboard lessons, golf, zip-lining, horseback, hiking, bio bay tours, ATVs, and more. Enjoy fine dining at four very close-by resorts or experience the adventure of the Kioscos a row of 30-40 local restaurants 3 miles away by Luquillo beach.
It is a short 35-minute drive to San Juan airport or to visit the history, culture, and culinary resources of the city.

If the property is forecast to be in the path of a named tropical storm or hurricane the guest may cancel their reservation and have their deposits refunded less any booking fees or taxes charged by Vrbo if they are not refundable by Vrbo. If a storm develops during the guest's visit and the guest cuts the stay short, the unused portion of the stay will be refunded, provided: 1. The cancellation or early departures may be made no earlier than five days before the storm is forecast to arrive at the property. 2. The location of this house is amazing. Our family had the most spectacular time walking the beach, we even had the pleasure of stumbling across a sea turtle laying her eggs. The property had everything we needed and was a wonderful place to spend our time while visiting the island. Large enough for our family of five to be comfortable. Manny was extremely helpful and walked us through every aspect of the house.

Our family of 6 (mostly adults) stayed for Spring Break 2025, and overall, we had a great week. The location was ideal for us, and we enjoyed the outdoor pool, hot tub (once the propane tank was replenished), and grilling area. We have stayed at many VRBO and other rentals, and the rating seemed inflated. The house needs TLC inside and out, including improved cleanliness (dirty dishes in non-working dishwasher), crumbs and dirty linens in sofa sleeper, thin/minimal bath/beach towels, old worn furniture and the upstairs a/c leaked continuously and a lot and was clearly not a new issue based on the stains on the wall. The ice cube trays had leaked by whomever was there previously and the freezer had a base layer of ice. The tiki bar and outdoor pizza oven were dirty and not appealing. The split flat was ok - not our preference but it worked. If we had expected a 3/5 property, this would have met our expectations, but based on reviews, our expectations were much higher.We still had a great trip, lots of great family memories, and enjoyed the beach right outside the door. Manny was attentive and pleasant. Loved Palmer and the mimosa's and woodfire pizza's at Lluvia served by Milton who was very kind and gave us great recommendations. Bungolu had fantastic tacos. Luquillo Beach and local fare was great. Hiked El Yunque (GO EARLY). Enjoyed a day a Culebra Island. Hit up the Biolumenscent Bay (stay up for the late trip).Additional questions, feel free to PM me.
